About Abbie

My name is Abbie Smith and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor. I have been providing counseling services to adults and adolescents since 2016.

Before opening up my own private practice, I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Tarleton State University. After a 13 year career in sales and marketing, I returned to school to pursue my passion in the counseling field. I began my internship experience at Sante Center for Healing and graduated with my Masters of Art in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. Shortly after graduating I joined the Sante team as an Intake and Admissions Counselor. My therapy approach utilizes CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Adlerian Therapy.

Many times, what I see troubling individuals most are negative thinking patterns and lack of belief in themselves. My role as your therapist is to explore and challenge those negative thoughts and guide you in cultivating change. It can happen, I promise!
